Take Five is offering free ‘protect your patch’ packs to help you remember to Stop, Challenge and Protect!

We’re here to help you nurture your defences and root out fraud by confidently challenging requests for your money and information.

Criminals use sophisticated techniques to try to scam us, including pressuring or rushing us, but we can protect ourselves. Protect Your Patch by taking your time to stop and think before parting with your money or information.

Take Five to Stop Fraud encourages everyone to strengthen their defences and:
  • STOP: Take a moment to stop and think before parting with your money or information. It could keep you safe.
  • CHALLENGE: Ask yourself – could it be fake? It’s ok to reject, refuse or ignore any requests. Only criminals will try to rush or panic you.
  • PROTECT: Contact your bank immediately if you think you’ve been scammed and report it to Action Fraud.
